Overview

Truck CBM Calculator ("the app") is a mobile utility for planning truck and semi-trailer loads: it calculates loading metres (LDM), volume (CBM) and a top-down load plan. The app works offline and does not require an account.

Data the app itself collects

None. Everything you enter — vehicle selection, pallet rows, dimensions, weights, unit preference, language and theme — is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us or to any server of ours. Uninstalling the app deletes it.

We do not use analytics, crash reporting or any tracking SDK, and we do not have a user database. There is nothing for us to look up, export or delete on request, because we never receive it.

Network requests the app makes

• Version check. The app fetches a small JSON configuration file from our developer site to see whether a mandatory update is required. It is a plain GET request and contains no personal data.
• Feedback. If you use the feedback form, the message text — and your e-mail address only if you choose to type one — is sent to us so we can read and reply. Nothing else is attached. If the form is unavailable, the app opens your own mail app instead, and then nothing is sent until you send it yourself.
• Advertising and purchases. See the two sections below.

Advertising

The app is distributed with the Google AdMob SDK. Where advertising is enabled, Google may collect and process data in order to serve ads, including:

• Device identifiers (such as the advertising ID / IDFA, where you have given permission)
• Approximate location derived from IP address
• Ad interaction data (views, clicks)

Purchases

If you buy the ad-free option, the purchase is processed by Google Play and validated through RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app-generated identifier and the receipt in order to confirm your entitlement. We never see or store your payment details. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

Your choices

• EEA / UK users: where advertising is enabled you are shown a consent form (Google User Messaging Platform) before the ad SDK is initialised. You can refuse or customise consent; the app remains fully functional and will show non-personalised or limited ads. You can change your choice at any time from the privacy options in the app.
• iOS users: you can decline tracking at the App Tracking Transparency prompt; ads will then be non-personalised.
• You can reset your device advertising ID in your device settings at any time.
• Buying the ad-free option removes advertising entirely.

Permissions

The app requests access to your photo library only if and when you choose to save a load plan image, and uses it solely to write that image. It is not used to read your existing photos.

Children

The app is a professional logistics tool and is not directed at children under 16.

Data sharing and selling

We do not collect, sell or share any personal data. Advertising and purchase data are processed directly by Google and RevenueCat as described above.

Not a legal or safety instrument

The load distribution figures in the app are an estimate calculated from the plan you entered and from typical data for the vehicle class — not from your vehicle. They are not a legal weighing and are not a statement of road-legal compliance. Only a weighbridge shows your real axle loads. This paragraph is here because it concerns how you should rely on the app, not because it concerns your data.

We may update this policy as the app evolves. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
